HALF of south-west Surrey's post offices could close under government plans to stop benefits being collected at post offices.
That is the claim being made by local Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman Simon Cordon, who says 10 of the district's 20 post offices could be lost once benefits start to be paid directly into people's bank accounts in three years.
