Get your wine glasses ready because on Sunday, July 23 Vineyards of Hampshire Fizz Fest is back for its ninth year.
Join Hampshire’s ten premier vineyards on a summer’s day at England’s oldest commercial vineyard – Hambledon Vineyard – from 12pm to 4pm.
The festival will be bigger and better than previous, entertaining more than 1000 visitors this year.
Hambledon owner Ian Kellett said: “We look forward to seeing old friends and welcoming all wine lovers, to taste a range of sparkling and still wines in our historic setting.”
Established in 1952, Hambledon is the UK’s oldest commercial vineyard. The current owners, Ian and Anna Kellett, bought the estate in the late 1990s and replanted it with various clones of the classic champagne varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier.
Today the estate has just over 200 acres under vine and concentrates on producing the very finest English fizz.
Fizz Fest 2023 will be opened by the talented Hampshire Hawkes ladies cricket team and is proudly sponsored by NFU Wickham and Winchester, de Mellow & Co, Porsche Bournemouth and Martin & Company.
Fizz Fest is an 18+ event, any under-18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
