A BID is being made for 150 extra police officers to be recruited by Hampshire Police over the next three years.
Police authority chairman Bill Wheeler and chief constable Paul Kernaghan have appealed to Home Secretary Jack Straw for the extra officers. A decision will be made on February 4.
