PROPOSALS for redevelopment of the former Happy Eater site at the A3 in Hindhead were felt to be "premature" by Haslemere Town Council last week, although members recognised the need for housing.
The application, submitted by Fairview Homes, is for 38 houses, 30 apartments, access roads and car parking areas and also includes plans to improve the A3/A297 junction.
