A HASLEMERE man died at the GuilFest music festival in Guildford on Sunday. Ronnie Boyne was taken to the Royal Surrey County Hospital on Sunday afternoon after members of the public and St John Ambulance paramedics tried to resuscitate him at the campsite. Mr Boyne was pronounced dead at hospital after being found in a campsite area at the Stoke Park festival site in Guildford. He was involved in a serious car accident two weeks ago on Liphook Road. Miraculously he and his five friends from Haslemere survived the crash which left their silver Peugeot in ruins. A Surrey Police spokesman said there were "no obvious signs of suspicious circumstances" surrounding his death. A post-mortem examination took place on Tuesday the inquest is set to resume at a later date.
