SCHOOLS throughout the Haslemere area were celebrating this week after achieving excellent GCSE examination results.
92.8 per cent of pupils at The Royal School in Haslemere achieved grades A-C in this year's exams, and Henry Beltran, headmaster at Wispers Girls' School in Haslemere, also said he was "very pleased" with the GCSE results, with several departments scoring 100 per cent passes.
