A FEW spots of rain did not dampen the excitement surrounding the annual Barfield School Easter Hat Parade.

Students of all ages, from the youngest in the nursery to the oldest in year eight, celebrated Easter by taking part in the parade on the last day of term.

The children excelled themselves with their creations and were rewarded with a delicious Easter cake.
