St Ives School joined in supporting Hospice Care Week with a themed “Hats for Hospices” day earlier this month, in support of the Farnham-based Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, which cares for people suffering from cancer, in Surrey and Hampshire.

The children were asked to come to school wearing autumn themed hats and to bring with them a donation of £1.
Hats were judged at the end of the day by head teacher Miss Goldsworthy, and the most creative will went on display at the school’s open mornings held before the half-term holiday.
