CAMELSDALE Primary School pupils got into the Easter spirit by taking part in the traditional Easter egg hunt in the school grounds and the seasonal hat and bonnet parade in the local church.

Family and friends packed into St Paul’s to admire the colourful processions staged at two services led by Rev David Talks.

Camelsdale headteacher Sarah Palmer said: “It is always lovely to come together at the end of term to celebrate Easter.

“Miss Robinson, our specialist music teacher, provides an excellent selection of special songs for the children to sing and each class participates in sharing the Easter story with a variety of poems.

“This term, we bade farewell to Mrs Mintoft, our year five teacher, and we would like to thank her for the contribution she has made to the children’s learning. We now look forward to the Haslemere Carnival and celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday with the children and the town.”
