PEOPLE are invited to have their say on the design of Farnham Park’s new ‘trim trail’ outdoor gym equipment.

There are four proposals to pick from, each designed to make outdoor exercise at the park fun and interesting for all.

Designs have been put forward by creative play area experts Flights of Fantasy which designed and built Farnham Park’s new adventure play area earlier this year, as well as Eibe, Playdale and Proludic.

The winning design will replace Farnham Park’s existing trim trail equipment, located in the south west corner of the park, early next year.

Simon Thornton, Waverley Borough Council’s portfolio holder for leisure and environment, said: “Once the winning design has been selected and constructed, it will provide residents with a different and fun way to exercise that will help to improve their fitness, health and wellbeing.”

Waverley is also reviewing proposals for a new trim trail in either Morley Road or Langhams Recreation Ground, as well as the future of the play areas at Oast House Crescent, White Cottage Close and Hale Reed Recreation Ground following recent consultations.
