NEW stretches of yellow lines will be mushrooming on south Farnham roads next April or May, after councillors gave their blessing to public consultation on proposals aimed primarily at improving safety and reducing obstructions.

The detailed proposals will be formally advertised, after which the public will have 28 days to submit views and objections before a final decision is made.
