TWO headteachers whose influence extends far beyond the classrooms of their own schools have been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours. A knighthood was announced for Andrew Carter, head since 1988 of top performing South Farnham School, now an academy. Barry Huggett, head of More House School, Frensham, and chairman of the special needs committee of the Independent Schools Council, will receive the OBE for services to education.
