Covid cases rise by almost 50% in a week

A TOTAL of 178 people tested positive for coronavirus in East Hampshire on February 6. The seven-day rolling total was 2,408, up 792 or 49 per cent.

Nobody died within 28 days of a positive test in East Hampshire on February 6. The seven-day rolling total was ten deaths and the rolling death rate was 2.4 per 100,000 people.

A total of 103,686 people (91.1 per cent) have had their first dose of the vaccine, 98,333 (86.4 per cent) their second dose and 84,413 (74.2 per cent) their booster.

On February 6, a total of 193 people tested positive for coronavirus in Waverley. The seven-day rolling total was 2,837, up 1,003 or 54.7 per cent.

Nobody died within 28 days of a positive test in Waverley on February 6. The seven-day rolling total was seven deaths and the rolling death rate was 3.2 per 100,000 people.

A total of 105,166 people (88.1 per cent) have had their first dose of the vaccine, 98,590 (82.6 per cent) their second dose and 84,569 (70.9 per cent) their booster.
