A new chiropractic clinic in Churt is helping local families access personalised care closer to home.

IB Family Chiropractic opened its doors in November 2025 and has since welcomed patients from across the surrounding area.

Founded by chiropractor Inga Burmeister, the clinic provides assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on families, women and children.

The clinic takes a whole-person approach to musculoskeletal health, considering factors including movement, posture, physical activity, sleep, stress and lifestyle alongside each patient’s individual circumstances.

Care is offered to people of all ages, from babies and children to expectant mothers and older adults. The clinic also supports patients with a range of musculoskeletal concerns, including back pain, mechanical neck pain, joint pain, general aches and pains, muscle spasms and headaches arising from the neck.

Every patient receives an individual assessment and, where appropriate, Inga will refer patients to other healthcare professionals to ensure they receive the most appropriate care.

One local patient said: “Inga is a wonderful chiropractor, and I highly recommend her for the whole family. She is incredibly thorough, always taking the time to listen, and is a fountain of knowledge.

“My two daughters also see Inga and absolutely adore her. She is fantastic with children.”

Inga said opening the clinic had been “incredibly rewarding”.

She added: “I wanted to create a welcoming space where local families could access personalised chiropractic care close to home.

“I’m passionate about helping people better understand their bodies and the different factors that can influence how they feel and function. Stress, movement, lifestyle and the demands of everyday life are all part of the bigger picture.

“It’s been a privilege to become part of such a supportive community, and I look forward to continuing to support people of all ages with their musculoskeletal health.”
