THE Hedgehogs are holding their second motor themed event on Sunday, July 3, The Farnham Motoring Revival.

It follows on from the highly successful private motor car collection show the Hedgehogs held in 2014.

This year’s show includes a variety of historic cars with a sporting heritage, including a 1974 Formula One racing car, a 1939 Lagonda and much more.

In addition to the formal presentation, guests will be able to visit a private collection of vehicles of all types and view other historic vehicles being brought to the event in a specific classic vehicle area.

In keeping with the theme of the event, guests are encouraged to dress in 1940s to 1970s period attire but it is not obligatory.

The proceeds from this year’s event are being raised for Change of Scene, a Farnham-based charity that supports children and young people who have suffered disadvantage through loss, uncertainty, sadness, ill-health, and abuse.

Bob Hockey, chairman of the Hedgehogs, said: “The Farnham Motoring Revival is the Hedgehogs most ambitious fund raising event to date and Change of Scene as our charity this year reflects our wish to help local people in need with a particular emphasis on the children and youth of Surrey and Hampshire.

“The Hedgehogs couldn’t put on an event such as this without the support of our sponsors, including Tindle Newspapers Ltd.”
