OFFICERS from Surrey Police paid students a visit at St Mary’s Infant School in Frensham.
Police community support officers Dave Boxall and Karen Phillips from Surrey Police visited the school last month to talk to youngsters about what the police do, what their role is in the community and how to keep safe.
The assembly session was very inter-active with lots of question and answer discussions between the children and PCSO Boxall.
Students even got to see the flashing lights of the police car and got a blast on the siren which “made everyone squeal”, according to a school spokesman.
Headteacher Jennifer Downing said: “We value these links with our local community and are very grateful to busy professionals when they give up their time to talk to the children.”
