YOUR wishes could come true in the Rotary Club of Alton’s first ‘Make a Wish’ initiative.
Do you know someone who deserves a treat? They may be someone who hasn’t been too well and would benefit from a treat or someone who goes out of their way to help others. Perhaps you know a family who might benefit from a day out or a volunteer who gives up much of their spare time to organise a sports club or support group of some kind.
If the answer is ‘yes’ to any of the above, then we want to hear from you because The Rotary Club of Alton wants to make a wish come true for someone in our community.
A member of Alton Rotary said: “We have seen this scheme work well in other Rotary clubs and we thought that it was a positive initiative that we could offer to the people of Alton.
“We don’t have thousands of pounds to spend but we believe that we can make a difference to someone in our local community. The wishes selected will be within the resources of the club members to fulfil.”
Application forms are available from The Alton House Hotel or Wildly Upbeat Printers on John Trimmer Walk, Alton.
