PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice is looking for volunteers to help in its Farnham Donation Centre, which sells donated furniture such as sofas, wardrobes, bookcases and tables.

Those volunteering will need to be fit and strong, as there is a lot of lifting and carrying to be done at the Farnham site.

All of the items which have been donated need to be moved, sorted and prepared for sale.

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care has 20 charity shops across West Surrey and North East Hampshire, including three furniture and home stores, and all sell items which have been generously donated by the public.

The money raised by these shops is vital to the charity, which provides outstanding specialist care for those facing a serious progressive illness, such as cancer.
