A HEROIN user was fined after being caught with the class-A drug between his buttocks.
The officers became suspicious when the 37-year-old man passed their vehicle four times during the early hours of September 20
Bacon, of Farnham Road, West Liss, admitted to one count of possessing a class-A drug before Aldershot magistrates last Thursday.
Prosecutor Serena Edwards said officers on the A325 became aware that a motorbike had passed their car several times. Bacon claimed he was heading to work when he was stopped by officers at 3.20am.
He was pulled over again after he was seen riding toward his home a few minutes later, contradicting the previous conversation.
Miss Edwards said: "Police asked to look at his phone and there was a message from a known drug user. It indicated having a cup of coffee in an alleyway at 3am."
The court heard that Bacon told the police his work had been cancelled. He was then searched by officers.
"They found a large wrap of heroin concealed between his bum cheeks," added Miss Williams.
"He confirmed what was seized was heroin and said he had bought it a few days earlier for £80. He said it would last him some time but gave no comment or reply as to where it was purchased."
Rebecca Short, defending, said Bacon was a heroin user who had suffered a relapse after taking part in a drug-rehabilitation programme.
She added that the defendant had made good progress with the requirement but needed extra sessions and was taking methadone.
Bacon was fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge by magistrates, who also ordered the drugs to be destroyed.
