THE village of Ropley made a powerful impact with the staging during the Bank Holiday weekend of two highly energetic crowd-pullers.
Despite the wet going under-foot, the weather held out to attract the largest entry for years in the 11th 10k Road Race while there were thrills and spills galore for the 35th "Original" Pram Race.
