A BUNGLED robbery at a Haslemere jewellers last Thursday led to a high-speed car chase along the A287 that went through Farnham before coming to an end at Runfold Sand Pit.

At around midday a silver Audi was seen by residents to speed through Farnham town centre, pursued by five police cars.
