SURREY Hills Cow Parade’s “Betty the Mini Moo” is up for grabs in a silent auction being held next week to benefit pupils with autism spectrum disorder at Jigsaw School.

Jigsaw, which is based at Dunsfold Park, is hosting the auction and money raised will be used to purchase equipment and resources for its students.

Betty, whose colourful design was created by Vikki Gibson (pictured) has already been on show at different High Street venues in Guildford and Woking.

She also went on display at Wings and Wheels 2016 at Dunsfold Park, where she was signed by members of the Tigers Freefall Parachute Display Team, the Royal Navy Black Cats and Andrew Dixon, who piloted the Dakota.

Jigsaw fundraiser Yvette Copping said: “Betty has been moo-ving far and wide these past few weeks and we are incredibly grateful to all those who have given her a home.

“We would also like to say a big thank you to Dunsfold Park for sponsoring her and for inviting us to Wings and Wheels, and to Vikki Gibson who created the wonderful design and engaged so well with our pupils when she visited.”

Anyone interested in giving Betty a permanent home should e-mail bids of more than £500 to [email protected] by Monday, September 12.
