But after a four-month closure for a total refurbishment, the Grade II Listed pub reopened last week to the delight of landlords Georgia and Jeff Watts. Having met behind the bar 20 years ago, Georgia and Jeff ran a host of pubs across Hampshire together before taking on their "dream pub" last spring. However, the dream turned sour when in December heavy rain caused the River Wey to burst its banks, resulting in catastrophe for the riverside pub. For full story, see this week's Farnham Herald.
