SENIOR citizens living in and around Four Marks have the opportunity once again this Easter to enjoy a one-day ‘Holiday at Home’ experience.

Based at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Lymington Bottom, this innovative service is designed as a holiday club for the over-60s, providing a day of sociable activity ranging from craft work to music and from games to talks, with a hot lunch and refreshments provided in a warm and friendly environment.

Now in its fourth year, spokesman Trish Rymer said that following on from the highly successful Christmas experience, when “so much fun was had by all (including helpers)”, it has been decided to run a one-day Easter ‘Holiday at Home’ on Wednesday, March 21, starting at 10.30am when attendees with be greeted by a guaranteed ‘friendly face’ and the offer of coffee or tea and biscuits. The day will end at 3pm, and is free.
