THE sunny weather certainly helped as Zumba for Kids, the last of the programme of summer holiday Fun Friday events organised by Alton Town Council, got under way in the Public Gardens.

The fun session on August 31 brought toddlers, infant and junior school-aged children together for a series of open-air dancies to music.

The five Fun Fridays that have been running throughout August have all been a success and much appreciated by grateful parents for giving the children something to entertain them during the long summer holidays as well as exercises they can practice at home.
