HOLLYCOMBE School's topic for its autumn and winter classes is 'Invade and Conquer' – and the children have been busy looking at the history of the Anglo-Saxons, Viking and Romans.
As part of the term's project, pupils have learned about Sutton Hoo and what the site says about Saxon beliefs and values, and they have studied the impact of Vikings and Saxons on today's society.
