The document, which proposes a target of at least 5,060 homes to be built in Waverley between 2006 to 2028, and lays down broadly where they should be sited, is currently undergoing final changes before submission to an inspector.
"Once the core strategy is passed by the inspector, that's it for the next 16 years," said association secretary Pamela Pownall.
