CHILDREN got into their stride for a morning of fun and frolics at Rams Walk on Saturday.

All in a good cause for Hounds for Heroes, youngsters enjoyed games and races in a Shop, Skip and Jump event supported by retailers in the Petersfield shopping mall.

In just four hours, more than £350 was raised from a tombola stall, with prizes from small cuddly dogs and shortbread to a bottle of Champagne and other gift items.

Lending his support to his special charity was Allen Parton and his dog EJ, along with other supporters.
