THE 20th annual LiDBA charity bike ride was again blessed with brilliant sunshine on Sunday and attracted a large crowd of eager participants, all pedalling for their chosen charities.

Although not quite matching last year's 1,506 entrants, an impressive 1,470 riders still took part with more elite riders joining in than in any previous years.

And organisers of the Liphook and District Businessmen's Association event are hoping to exceed 2009's record amount raised for dozens of charities across East Hampshire.
