VIRGIN Care Community Dental Service based at Farnham Hospital has spiced up the view from the dreaded dental chair hoping to put patients in a more relaxed environment during their visits.

Marcus Evans, from Virgin Care Limited, said: “The Friends of Farnham Hospital group approached our team following a good inspection to ask if there was anything we needed as a gift for the clinic and the team had seen the lights and thought they’d be fantastic for Farnham.

“The great thing about the installation is that since the team treat a lot of young children and patients with very complex needs having the light boxes above the chair is very calming. The team also use sedation and can weave the picture into the sedation technique to help the patients relax.”
