Frimley park Hospital hopes to open a new £250,000 unit to ease demand on services following what its chief executive has described as the hospital's most difficult winter yet.
The hospital has applied for planning permission for the "state-of-the-art" Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), designed to prevent unnecessary admissions and to release more beds.
