SERVICES at Farnham Hospital may be in line for expansion so that for the first time in years it will receive ambulances bringing patients in need of urgent treatment and provide 24/7 consultant-led care for inpatients.
Proposals that Farnham's hospital and others at Haslemere, Woking and Caterham Dene could become enhanced community hospital hubs have emerged as the board of NHS Surrey moves to tackle a £125m budget deficit.
