PLANS to hold a candlelight vigil outside Haslemere Hospital have come as a surprise to the Haslemere Hospital Action Group this week.
An action group representative said she knew nothing about the vigil, which is being organised by Liberal Democrat campaigner Simon Cordon and will be held on Wednesday (Oct 18), from 8 to 9 pm. A decision on the future of the hospital's beds will be made on Thursday (Oct 19).
