"ALMOST human" was the description of two mannequins presented to Bordon's Chase Hospital by the League of Friends at their annual meeting.
The Friends raised £1,400 to buy the dummies, which were handed over to hospital administrator Tina Baker, who said they would be put to immediate use to help the nurses and doctors in their training.
Chairman of the Friends, John Coles, said the mannequins were among the many medical and comfort items the League had bought for the hospital since they were formed in 1986 and during those years they had raised £250,000 for Chase.
The mannequin can be used to practice such techniques as resuscitation, applomy splints for broken limbs, and bandaging.
In April, the League of Friends presented the hospital with six television sets and six radios.
