A NEW planning application to build a hotel on the outskirts of Petersfield is unlikely to get the green light.

The revised application by James Nolan, the owner of the dilapidated former Victorian mansion at Adhurst St Mary in London Road, Sheet, to carry out some works on the "at-risk" building ahead of the sale of 16 permitted homes on the site, is the latest in a long line of planning applications to create a 22-bedroom hotel within the Grade II Listed building.
