A HUGE demand and a short supply of properties in Haslemere has led to quick sales and an increase in house prices in line with the property boom sweeping the rest of the country, estate agents have said this week.
The property boom across the country, which has seen house prices rising by almost ten per cent in a year, has affected property sales in Haslemere, although the town's estate agents agree there is little danger of a reoccurrence of the 1989 "boom and bust".
