A RECOMMENDATION to allow planning permission for nine houses on a parcel of land behind the petrol garage on Portsmouth Road in Liphook was ignored by East Hants district councillors last Thursday.
Committee members on the north planning sub-committee rejected the plans on the basis that the access to the houses from Newton Road was inadequate.
