WAVERLEY councillors have agreed to a fundamental review of housing policy which could mean the end of the council's role as a housing provider.
The review, to be undertaken by independent consultants, will decide if it is best to keep its current housing stock, use private finance initiative to pay for housing or whether to transfer its stock to a housing association.
