HOWZAT Cricket Club have handed over a cheque for £1,000 to Brightwells Gostrey Centre.

It’s to help fund the Brightwells community wheels service, which delivers cooked, fresh meals to some of the most vulnerable people in the community.

This also marks the 15th year that the club have handed out cheques, not only to local charities but to national charities as well.

Mark Taylor, founder of the cricket club, said he was “proud of every single player, supporter and committee member of this unique Farnham based cricket club and hoped to help many more good causes in the future”.

He continued that he “would like to thank club sponsors Trueman and Grundy for their continued support”.
