WAVERLEY Borough Council can expect to spend at least £200,000 remedying contaminated land at Farnham's Riverside, if it wants to relocate the Brightwells tennis courts there and provide extra car parking.
The development on the former gas board land is intended to enable the nearby East Street development to proceed.
