NEARLY 400 runners took part in the Kelly’s Storage Cross Country Challenge at Loseley Park on Sunday, October 15, in aid of charity Challengers.
There was a 5k, 10k and a half marathon, as well as two organised walks and children’s races, and all the routes enjoyed fabulous views of the Surrey Hills.
The event HQ had a festival atmosphere with music, commentary, food and drink, as well as face painting, beat the goalie and a fun drama workshop.
Kelly’s hopes the Cross Country Challenge will raise £20,000 for Challengers, which runs play centres for disabled children across Surrey and the South East - including in St James Avenue, Farnham.
Moira Martin, director of Kelly’s Storage charity events, said: “Challengers are such an amazing charity to support and together with their team we provided a fantastic day out for so many people.
“We cover all costs so 100 per cent the money given will go straight to them.”
