MONDAY, May 31, was the centenary of the launch of the famous liner Titanic, but few people will know of a local link.
When building Titanic, shipbuilders Harland and Wolff also built a hunting lodge at Hurt Hill, on the eastern edge of Hindhead Common.
And the remains of the lodge are now being excavated by National Trust volunteers.
