A GLACIAL adventure to Iceland for 40 pupils from The Petersfield School proved to be a "geographer's dream" for the intrepid young travellers. Highlights for the year nine and year 10 pupils included walking between two separating tectonic places, trekking across a glacier, viewing some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, and rafting down the freezing cold glacial waters of the Hvita river. Sam Graham, head of geography at the Cranford Road school, said: "The students loved it and the trip was an absolute success. It was the most exciting, adventurous, active and relevant geographical expedition to date."
