TWO people have been arrested following a UK Border Agency raid on a Farnham cafe.

Acting on intelligence, officers visited The Gorge in The Woolmead at around 3.30pm last Thursday where they questioned staff to check they had the right to work in the UK.

A 32-year-old Ukrainian woman and a 24-year-old Turkish man were both arrested for entering the UK illegally.

A subsequent search of their home address in Woolmead Court led to the seizure of a forged Polish passport and a forged Bulgarian passport, along with several thousand pounds in cash.

The two are being detained and awaiting deportation from the UK.
