The home side dominated proceedings and played some of their best football of the season, although they will be disappointed to have conceded two soft goals.
The visitors again pulled one back, but Liss went in at half-time leading 6-2, thanks to two Paul Jayes strikes. All in all, an action-packed first half.
After the break, Liss kept it tight at the back and added two more goals – McGann completing a well-deserved hat-trick and Suman firing home an excellent volley.

In the second period, Liss added two more quick goals to finish the game as a contest. Jon Noble fired home a free-kick and then Marcus Finlander rose at the back post to head a fine goal.
Amesbury, to their credit, kept going and hit back with two quick goals.
But Liss and Noble had the last laugh, adding the fifth in stoppage time to send the Newman Collard faithful home happy.
