PLANS to give villagers their own voice in Sheet have moved a step closer following the first stage of a consultation exercise last week to gauge public response to the proposals.

The drop-in event in the village hall on Saturday gave people the chance to have their say of whether the village splits from Petersfield Town Council to form its own parish council.
