EAST Hampshire District Council has had to go back to the drawing board after a Government inspector expressed "serious doubts" that the proposed numbers of houses outlined in the joint core strategy can be delivered in Whitehill and Bordon.

The local plan outlines ways that new developments, including housing and employment, will be delivered up to 2028.

In his letter to East Hampshire District Council, inspector Anthony Thickett said he had "concerns regarding the soundness" of the document.
