AN elderly Petersfield woman was left badly shaken when two men broke into her home on Friday night and posed as police officers.
The two would-be burglars forced their way into the flat at Lavant Court through a ground-floor window.
This took them straight to the bedroom of the flat and they made a search of the room.
They then disturbed the woman, who was in her sitting room, and told her they were police officers.
