RESIDENTS are invited to attend the Farnham Annual Town Meeting taking place on Thursday, March 23, at 7pm at The Bush Hotel.

The meeting will be chaired by the Mayor of Farnham, John Ward, and there will be presentations by the councillors who have responsibility for key areas such as tourism and events and community enhancement. Carole Cockburn, the leader of the council, will also give a talk about future plans.

She said: “The meeting is an opportunity for electors who live or work in the Farnham Town Council area to find out what the town council has achieved over the past year, what it has planned for the next 12 months and to receive an update on the plans for the Neighbourhood Plan referendum.”

All Farnham electors are welcome to attend and are free to ask questions and make comments about issues relating to Farnham. If the matter is not a town council responsibility, councillors present will do their best to answer the question or follow up issues with the relevant organisation.

To help with catering arrangements, anybody who wishes to attend is asked to email [email protected] or call 01252 712667.
