HASLEMERE town centre was packed to overflowing on Sunday, when thousands of visitors enjoyed the annual blockbuster Christmas market.
Haslemere Rock Choir, a live Nativity and a trip to Santa’s Victorian parlour were some of the highlights, in addition to hundreds of stalls spilling over from the High Street into West Street, The Georgian Hotel and Haslemere Museum.
Children’s enterainments included sky-high views of the action and a
mini-rollercoaster.
Haslemere Events co-organiser Melanie Odell, said: “The sun did shine on Sunday, probably for 30 seconds, but hordes of people from near and far came to enjoy the day.
“Thank you to everyone who helped to make this annual event such a great success. The mayor and town crier flew the Haslemere flag while admiring the stalls.
